Lucente

The careful selection of ingredients that is practiced in the production of Luce wine gives Lamberto Frescobaldi, the enologist for Luce della Vite, the opportunity to take advantage of picking the best harvest of Sangiovese and Merlot for the production of Lucente, one of the most popular Tuscany wines.

The composition of Lucente is further complimented with Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine grape that has a distinct taste that is suitable for the wines of Tuscany. Lucente reveals a typical Tuscan character, which has an excellent body and complex aromas. The Lucente is an elegant yet versatile wine, thus it is considered by many to be the perfect companion for both regional and international cuisine.

Tasting Notes

Lucente will greet a taster with a strikingly luminous purple-red color, and upon closer inspection, the taster may see shimmering ruby highlights. The scent of the Lucente is just as impressive, as it presents a broad range of elegant aromatic impressions. Smooth and ripe scents of dried plum and blackberry preserves are easily noted on the wine, along with a more pungent roasted espresso bean and baker’s chocolate scents, as well as subtle notes of green pepper.

The palate of Lucente is notable for its warmth and roundness, and it would often display smooth, glossy tannins, and the well-balanced acidity of the wine offers delicious support to a sturdy and firm structure of its flavor. In addition, intriguing notes of salty mineral can also be found upon tasting, which can perfectly conclude the finely-balanced or harmonious wine.
