Italian Music & Musicians

Italians have a deep love for music, from classic opera to the latest trend in Tuscany. The Frescobaldi family has had their own influence in history of Italian music through Girolamo Frescobaldi, a late 15th century organist and innovative composer. Even by today’s standards, his works were (and still are) considered modern. Girolamo, along with fellow innovative composers, introduced composition styles and methods that helped set the stage for the music we all enjoy today.

Italy offers a wide range of music styles, but nothing says Italian more then opera. However, if opera isn’t your style, there are a lot of musicians and bands to select from.
