The Pomino Vendemmia Tardiva is a blend of Chardonnay, Traminer Aromatico, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio from the estate vineyards of Castello di Pomino, Pomino and Rufina. The grapes are over ripened on the vines and harvested at the end of October and November. The wine then spends 12 months in new French oak barrels before bottling.
Strikingly deep yellow gold. Richly-layered aromatics reveal honeyed notes over fruit preserve. On the palate is silk-smooth, supple, and dense, with the richly-textured body nicely set off by a crisp acidity.
